1. Who gives this warranty
This warranty is given by Phenome Longevity Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13926236), whose registered office is at The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9SG, United Kingdom ("we", "us").
It applies to the PhenomeTech Ring and the PhenomeTech Band (each a "device") bought new from us on phenomelongevity.com. It forms part of our Terms of Sale.
2. How long the warranty lasts
Your device is covered for 2 years from the date it is delivered to you. For the PhenomeTech Ring, this is the date the Ring itself is delivered, not the sizing kit.
3. What is covered
We warrant that your device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, including its sensors, battery and finish, when used normally and in line with our instructions.
| Covered | Examples |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing defects | Parts that fail or do not work as they should because of how the device was made. |
| Battery faults | The battery will not hold a charge, or its capacity falls below 80% of its original capacity during the warranty period under normal use |
| Sensor malfunctions | Sensors stop recording, or the device stops collecting data. |
| Charging issues | The device will not charge with the charger supplied. |
| Finish and coating defects | Peeling, flaking or discolouring of the finish or coating that is not caused by damage. |
4. What is not covered

These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights described in section 8.
5. How to make a claim
1. Email hello@phenomelongevity.com with your order number, your device's serial number (you can find this in the Phenome Longevity app), a short description of the problem, and photos or a short video if possible.
2. Our team will reply within two working days and may first ask you to try some simple troubleshooting steps, such as resetting or recharging your device.
3. If the problem continues, we will confirm your claim and send you a prepaid label to return the device.Your device contains a lithium battery. Please pack it securely in its original box if you have it, and follow any packing instructions we send with your label.
4. Before you send your device, unpair it from the app and keep a note of anything you need (see section 10).
5. Once we receive and check your device, we will tell you what we will do.
6. What we will do
If your claim is valid, we will, at our choice:
- repair your device;
- replace it with the same model or, if that is no longer available, an equivalent model; or
- give you a refund.
A repaired or replacement device is covered for the rest of your original warranty period. The warranty period does not start again.
We pay the postage both ways for valid warranty claims.
7. If no fault is found
If we check your device and find no fault, or find that the problem is not covered by this warranty, we will explain why and return the device to you. We will not charge you for checking your device or for returning it to youIf the problem is not covered, we may be able to offer a paid repair or replacement. We will always tell you the cost first, and you can decide whether to go ahead.
8. Your statutory rights
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer. It does not replace or limit them. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. In summary:
- Up to 30 days: if your device is faulty, you can reject it and get a full refund.
- After 30 days: you can ask for a repair or replacement. If that is not possible, or if one repair or replacement does not fix the problem, you may be entitled to a price reduction or a refund
- Within 6 months: if a fault appears, it is presumed to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise.
- Up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland): you may be able to make a claim, although after 6 months you may need to show that the fault was there at delivery.
You can choose whether to claim under this warranty or under your statutory rights. For returns for any reason within 30 days of delivery, see our Returns, Cancellations and Refunds Policy. For more information about your rights, contact Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133.
9. Care, charging and water resistance
Looking after your device helps it last longer.
- Charging: use only the charger and cable supplied with your device. The PhenomeTech Ring comes with a magnetic charger and USB cable. Keep the charging contacts clean and dry.
- Cleaning: wipe your device with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water resistance: the PhenomeTech Ring is rated IP67. This means it can be worn while washing your hands or in the rain. Please remove it before swimming, bathing, showering with hot water or using a sauna, steam room or hot tub, and avoid contact with soap, chemicals or pressurised water.
- Heat and impact: avoid leaving your device in direct sun, near heaters or in very hot or cold places. Remove your Ring when doing work that could knock or scratch it.
- Batteries: your device contains a lithium battery. Do not try to open the device or replace the battery yourself.
10. Your data and unpairing before you send your device
Before you send your device to us, please sync it with the Phenome Longevity app so that your latest data is saved to your account, then unpair it from the app. Data already stored in your account will stay there. We cannot guarantee that any data stored only on the device will be kept during repair or replacement. When we receive a returned device, we securely erase any data stored on it before it is repaired, refurbished, recycled or sent to anyone else.
We handle any personal data we access during a warranty claim in line with our Privacy Policy.
11. Not a medical device
The PhenomeTech Ring and PhenomeTech Band are wellness devices designed for general fitness and wellbeing. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, monitor or prevent any disease or medical condition. They estimate heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen (SpO2), blood pressure, sleep stages and movement. Their readings are estimates and must not be used to diagnose or manage any medical condition. For example, the devices are not blood pressure monitors for managing high blood pressure. Please talk to a doctor about any health concerns. A difference between your device's readings and readings from a medical device is not in itself a fault covered by this warranty.
12. If you give or sell your device to someone else
If you give or sell your device to someone else, this warranty transfers to them for the rest of the warranty period. They will need the original order confirmation or order number as proof of purchase.
13. Outside the UK
This warranty applies to devices bought from Phenome Longevity Ltd and delivered to an address in a country available at checkout. If you are outside the UK, please contact us before returning your device so that we can arrange the return. [Confirm how international warranty returns are handled, including postage and any customs charges.] Devices bought from Phenome Omics in Türkiye are covered by that company's own terms. Your local consumer laws may give you additional rights.
